Alluvial gold

The alluvial gold present in the riverbeds and terraces resulted from the erosion of the rocks over time. The rivers flow over gravel, washed, separating and concentrating alluvial gold and heavy metals into specific layers.
While mining gold is commonly exploited by mining using explosives and “cyanation,” alluvial gold is exploited through gravitational washing and gravity sorting with mechanical, ecological equipment.
